Managers - as they view another...

  PROCLAIMER
Salsa: Managers desire to get the job done and will cut corners if necessary. Since this is uncomfortable for Proclaimers, Managers view Proclaimer as too dogmatic and unbending.
Cooler: Managers and Proclaimers are a strong balanced team when working together; Proclaimers will keep Managers from making unwise choices.

  HELPER
Salsa: Managers hold many traits in common with Helpers, hence, they get along well with each other. However, Managers do find the Helper's avoidance of long-range planning an irritant. Mangers also may feel pressured by Helpers to get more involved personally.
Cooler: Helpers work well with Managers in carrying out the plans they agree on; Manager often see Helpers as a great asset in their work.

  TEACHER
Salsa: In Aesop's fable, Managers would view themselves as the hare and Teachers as the tortoise. Managers feel if they wait for Teachers, nothing may be accomplished. Manager don't like it when the say something now and then find out later from aTeacher that it is theoretically correct.
Cooler: Managers can depend on Teachers to do background research work that the Manager does not want to do.  Managers can also rely on Teachers to take care of a lot of the details.

  EXHORTER
Salsa: Managers may view Exhorters as too impulsive and self-confident. Exhorters are often viewed by Managers as a potential source of insubordination and rebellion.
Cooler: Managers and Exhorters both like working with people and can be a good complementary team. Managers will depend on Exhorters for encouragement when plans are not working out.

  GIVER
Salsa: Managers probably appreciate the role of the Giver more than anyone else does. Managers share a lot in common with Givers in the thinking and planning process. Managers however may question whether the Giver's planning is thorough enough and may see Givers as not being forceful enough in getting the job done.
Cooler: Giver tends to be quietly supportive of the Manager boosting the confidence of the Manager.

  MANAGER
Salsa: A house divided against itself cannot stand, and that can often arise in a relationship between two Managers, making this potentially the most difficult match of motivation categories. Each may see the other as a threat to their leadership. It will be extremely hard for one to give in to the other.
Cooler: Two Managers can accomplish a lot when they work together

  COMFORTER
Salsa: Next to the Manager-Manager match, this may be the match poised for the most problems. Managers view Comforters as being indecisive and too emotional. Interestingly enough, the Manager is most often attracted to such a Comforter in opposite sex relationships!
Cooler: When the plans of Managers are unsuccessful, Comforters are able to help Managers not take it personally.
